Romeo Torres (they/he) is a performer/actor based in New York City.

Most recently, Romeo closed Meta-Phys Ed.’s The Banality of Evil at the Brick Theatre after an additional workshop process throughout 2023. Romeo also closed Here Lies Love on Broadway as an Audience Wrangler after 33 previews and 149 regular performances.

Romeo recently graduated from NYU Tisch through the New Studio on Broadway, studying musical theatre, and physics through the College of Arts and Sciences. Post graduation, they quickly found their home on set at Saturday Night Live as a Production Assistant/CCO.

Since their graduation, Romeo has had the pleasure of working exclusively on new and original works. They have honed their skills in devising, and will continue to contribute significantly to the development on new works.

They find beauty in the monstrous, the horrifying, the disgusting. Join them as they develop their metal screaming and alternative drag. There’s plenty of humor to be discovered in the dark. And boy, do they like to laugh.
